Schibel having graduated from University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1970, has practiced law for over 50 years. He is a Certified Specialist, Family Law, by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and has been continually since the program’s inception in 1980. Robert L. Schibel was an instructor from 1975-1980 at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, specifically in the field of family law and contracts. During his extensive law career, he has authored various articles, such as, “The Doctrine of Constructive Change,” NCMA Journal, Vol. 3, Fall, 1969. Co-Author: “The Great Record Rip-Off: Penal Sanctions and State Civil Remedies,” University of West Los Angeles Law Review, Vol. VII, Winter, 1975. In addition, Robert L. Schibel was the Columnist for a legal column in the children’s magazine, “The Legal Beagle” in 1997.
